Minister of Planning, Ali Baban , said that his ministry was able to complete a five-year development plan for the years 2010 -2014, indicating that it a comprehensive plan in its economic, social, humanitarian and public services and the infrastructure.
He said that the plan "focused on the priorities within the oil and electricity sectors as a first priority, considering that oil is the basic financed of the gross domestic product and the financing of the budgets of investment plans."
About electricity sector, the minister said that "provides an essential environment is to sustain the various sectors of development and human consumption," explaining that "the plan focused on agricultural and rural development because of the direct connection of agriculture with provision food security and employment of manpower in the countryside."
