Ireland Iraq Trade Association renovates its activities with the support of the Iraqi private sector

The Ireland Iraq Trade Association (IITA) Project Manager Ms. N. Al-Dahwi has announced that the (IITA) has planned to send its members through out the Middle East and Europe to participate in a group of activities; conferences, exhibitions and other economic events, Ms. Al-Dahwi has added that the purpose for planning such activities is to strengthen business relations between Iraqi businessmen and their components through out the globe and to discover new ways of cooperating and finding opportunities in joint investments, the Ireland Iraq Trade Association has also prepared a primary list of countries that its members will visit starting with Tunisia, France, Bahrain, Ireland, United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, Brazil and Kuwait.
ITA starts its program with Tunisia
The Tunisian government has invited Ireland Iraq Trade Association “IITA” and its members to attend The International Fair For Services in Tunisia which will be held in the period between 8th – 9th of June 2006 in Le Kram Exhibition Center, and under the title of Uniting Competency… Creating Convergence…, with the participating of more than 200 exhibitors. IITA will send a delegation of its members to participate in this great event in order to strengthen and invigorate relations between Iraq, Tunisia and other countries which will participate in this exhibition.
This event will be held for the third year in a row, it was first held in December 2004 in Tunisia, about 1000 participants has attended this event 365 of them represented 30 foreign companies, 6 financing funds and international work structures and contract approvals.
African countries like Mauritania, Senegal, Chad, and Mali also participated in this event.
Guests of honor will be Japan and Mauritania.
Some of the subjects which will be discussed in the exhibition are tourism, marketing and communication services.
Exhibition services areas are:
1. Engineering.
2. High Tech.
3. HealthCare
4. Finance.
5. Education.
6. Publishing and Communication agencies.
This exhibition aims to gather decision makers to put development strategies in all sectors, and to provide the right environment for services sector in the Arabic and African countries to find promising partners. It also aims for cooperating and developing new business strategies between Arabic and African partners.
Tunisian companies and associations working in engineering, media, interior design, and architecture are participating in this exhibition.
