Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Dr Hussain Al-Shahristani is in Singapore for a three-day official visit.
A statement from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said he would be accompanied by senior officials from various Iraqi ministries and agencies.
During his visit, DPM Shahristani will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
He will also meet with Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang and Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Dr Yaacob Ibrahim.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Masagos Zulkifli and Minister of State for Trade and Industry Lee Yi Shyan will host events for DPM Shahristani separately.
In addition, DPM Shahristani will have a dialogue with business leaders chaired by the Singapore Business Federation.
He will also speak on Iraq's emerging role in meeting global energy demands at a public lecture hosted by the Middle East Institute on Friday.
