The head of Baghdad Investment Commission Shaker Zamili discussed with a German companies, the prospects for economic cooperation in the field of investment for public and residential sectors, including private.
A statement of the Commission mentioned on Sunday: that the delegation announced during the meeting, its willingness to set up more than 6,500 housing units in Baghdad including all services required by residential complexes, which will be held in accordance with modern designs and sophisticated practice in most developed countries, while maintaining the historical legacy of the country in these designs, as the delegation expressed their intention to set up more than 85,000 housing units in addition to that it confirmed the possibility of the use of local raw materials in the process of building, which will strengthen the Iraqi economy.
Zamili explained to the delegation : the willingness to provide support in order to create suitable land and obtaining all fundamental approvals with the sectorial and this came after the submission of adequate explanation for the mechanism to work according to the Investment Law No. 13 of 2006 as amended.
