– Mohammed al-Daraji, the Minister of Housing and Construction has released a statement that the housing ministry has taken up a new building method. He has also said that, in comparison to the traditional method of building used in Iraq, the new method will save both time and money up to 50%.
The latest released statement from the Ministry has quoted the statement of Minister Daraji which states that the General Commission of Housing sector of the Ministry of Housing is overseeing the contraction of a building executed under the new method.
This release has also stated further that this new method will reduce the use of materials used in contraction and that of concrete because under this method, materials available in the local market are being used.
Minister Daraji has also confirmed that the new method will be implemented to all the housing construction projects and government buildings because it is cost effective and saves time; moreover, it is an efficient system.
