Iraqi Oil Testing Contract Won by Expro

Expro, the international oil flow management company has stated recently that it has finally been able to secure a Sonar production oil testing contract from Eni for the oil well in the southern Iraq. According to the contract, Expro will only be using non-intrusive, multiphase production testing with the clamp Sonar meters for the oil wells of Zubair field. This is the field that is regulated and managed by Eni along with the South Oil Company which owned by the company. Eni, which is the leading contractor of the consortium created by the development of the Zubair field has the well s and Expro will be using its technology for measuring the production from the oils. This particular clamp on technology will make sure that the oil production can be supervised with a very small amount of crew and minimum amount of equipment. This is the procedure which will take away the risk of pollution and this way it will be enhancing the safety of the production testing operation. This has been confirmed in a statement by the company. The region director of Mena, Mr. Selim Djandji has said that the contract highlights one of the latest elements from the broad product and the services that Expro offers during the lifecycle of the well. He has also added that from the operating bases of Expro in the region, they are well placed to provide services like oil testing, Sonar metering services and many other kinds of products and services and all these services will be able to meet the requirements of the customers regarding the well management needs.
