A large-scale program was recently announced by the Iraqi government in order to ascertain the needs of the insolvent localities of Iraq. The program will also be conducted to raise the standards of living of those improvised areas.
In that occasion Iraqi government spokesperson Ali al-Dabbagh told Al-Shorfa said that a new part of fruitful co-operation between Iraq and its international partners is represented in this program. He also added that United Nations (Population Fund) and the World Bank is among the main partners of Iraq in this matter.
The spokesperson also included that a complete survey on poverty and hardship in those improvised areas of Iraq will be conducted by the researcher through this program. After the study the researchers will provide a complete data to the decision-makers and they will aim those particular areas at the time of implementation of poverty-reduction projects.
He added that the survey will be conducted by US-trained, skilled research committees.
