The member of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, MP Ibrahim al-Rikabi announced that a modification would be done to the salaries scale, emphasising that there is no intensification in the salaries within coming year’s federal budget.
Rikabi said to the media that 2013 budget does not have an increase to the salaries, but there will be an alteration to the salaries scale to combine the salaries of all the state employees.
He added that the salaries scale will be specific for all the employees except few employees, who will be covered by the category of the emergency allowances.
On the last Wednesday, the Iraqi Parliament has finished the second reading of 2013 general budget’s law draft in the regular session.
