MP Salman al-Musawi, who is the member of the Parliamentary Economy & Investment Committee, called for activating the taxes and upgrading the agriculture and industry sectors to be exploited as the revenues in addition beside the oil sector profits, noting that the economy of Iraq is developing increasingly but it is still dependant on the oil sector only.
Musawi made a statement to the media that many countries forecast high speed in the economic growth of Iraq due to the increase of the oil exports but at the same time they need real intelligent management for those profits from the oil sector.
He also emphasized on the requirement of launching the taxes and the supporting the private sector as being resource to provide jobs for large category of the society which suffers important unemployment.
The US has declared previously, that economy of Iraq will be the fastest in terms of development in the world during 2013.
