French oil group "Total" is now discussing with the American "Chevron" a contract to provide services for Iraq to develop the western Dorra field in the south of the country.
"Total" holding talks with "Chevron" to get a technical services contract with the American group on the field south of Iraq, as a spokesman for "Total" said on the sidelines of an international forum on oil in Paris.
