Iraqi Economists considered the completion of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance to the federal budget for 2009 as the beginning of a real breakthrough towards an economic recovery, and expand the base of development in services area, and develop the standard of living for the citizen, through the allocation of more than 60 billion dollars for operational expenses.
Experts have called for increasing the State's contribution in the progress of development by increasing the amount of the investment program and pay the local and foreign private sector to enter in the areas of development and investment of energy and new sectors of industry and agriculture.
Dr. Inas Hidawi, a professor of economics at the Faculty of Administration and Economy of Baghdad, said that the federal budget, which exceeded 78 billion dollars, will contribute in consolidation the economic and financial stability and cash, provided that implementing of development projects at all the provincial level, stressing the necessity of putting into effect the policy of the efficient government spending And upgrading the government services through the optimum use of available resources.
She added that the increase of investment expenditure in the budget of 2009 will prove the correct vision in how to deal with economic changes and to mitigate the negative effects, and the Iraqi government's commitment to continue in the economic, financial and administrative reform program start from the successfully passing through the internal and external economic crises, that coming through Investment.
