The Iraqi-French Joint Committee hold its 11th session in Paris

The Iraqi-French Joint Committee has decided to hold its 11th session in the French capital Paris for the period 20-24/3/2009 to discuss the ways of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in all areas and to discuss the different convention projects.
A statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, said the Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani, will head the Iraqi delegation as the chairman of the Iraqi side in the Committee with participation of representatives from a large number of Iraqi ministries.
The statement noted that was according to the invitation by the French Minister of Economy and Industry, Christine Lagarde the chairman of the French side in the Committee.
