Iraq to import oil products

Iraq resumed today the import of oil from Turkey after an agreement had been reached between the two sides on the basis of the pending Iraq's debts related to the import of these products.
An official from the Ministry of Oil said that the entry of oil products will soften the fuel crisis, stressing that the Ministry of Finance had reduced the funds for this purpose to 50 per cent.
Meanwhile, oil sources said that 300 oil tankers began yesterday entering Iraq through a northern entry point and that their number will gradually increase in the coming days.
