The Russian Stroy Trans Gas, which is working in the field of oil and gas installations, intends to implement two projects in Iraq . The company's Board Chairman Alexander Ryazanov said during a Russian-Iraqi round table in Moscow , "that the company is ready to direct implementation of these projects as soon as possible in the event of receiving an invitation from the Iraqi side. Ryazanov told reporters that the first contract includes examining and maintenance of the transport pipeline along 350 km was built in 1952. The second project includes the resumption of work for a contract was signed in 2003 which is to extend the oil transport pipeline in southern Iraq along the 232 km. The implementation of this contract, worth about 150 million euros was halted after the events of 2003. Ryazanov stressed that the company is giving a great importance to the issue of securing the signing of contracts and provision of safe working conditions.
