Al Nassiriah Electric Power Station signs contract with Russian company

Al Nassiriah Electric power station signed a contract in Amman with a Russian Company in order to reactivate the broken down cooling cycle which will calm down fears from the water shortage. A source in the General directorate of Electricity production said that the green light was taken from the Ministry of Electricity in order to use this system if Euphrates water level decreased to a level that might impel the station to stop functioning.
