His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Chairman of Trustees of Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian and Charitable Works Board, and the managing director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, has met yesterday Rafie al-Issawi, the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the country. During the meeting which was held at the headquarters, they discussed a number of common concerned issues, especially in the areas of investment and development projects as well as reviewing the current situation of the global financial system and the opportunities of economic cooperation in the future.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has welcomed Rafie Isawi wishing to his visit a successful benefit and development for the fraternal relations between the two countries in various fields and expressed the welcome of Abu Dhabi to any successful investment opportunities or development projects, and he addressed the objectives and the role of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in the implementation of projects carried out internal and external.
For his part, the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister has reviewed during the meeting the economic, trade and investment opportunities that would be a successful investment for the benefit of both sides.
He commended the advanced level of civilization that the United Arab Emirates has reached in various fields, noting the wise policy of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials from Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and members of the accompanying delegation with the Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq, and Abdullah Ibrahim Azwai Al Shehhi the UAE Ambassador in Iraq.
