The President of Kurdistan Parliament, Adnan al-Mufti stated in a speech describing today as a historic, with an invitation to take advantage of this opportunity to serve the Iraqi people and "developing other areas of agricultural, industrial and general services insurance to all Iraqi people without discrimination."
Nechirvan Barzani, urged the federal government to distribute oil revenues fairly to all Iraqi people, and in this context, "We are all responsible in a democratic federal Iraq, we encourage the security, stability and prosperity for the people and we should all work to unify our efforts to exploit our natural wealth, which benefits all the Iraqi people. "
For his part, President Jalal Talabani said that today is an affirmation to the will of the Iraqi people in the investment of national wealth, "including the people of Iraqi Kurdistan to invest its national resources to the interests of all Iraqi people, according to article 111 and 112 of the Iraqi Constitution, which has been voted by more than 12 million Iraqis" .
For his part, Massoud Barzani, Kurdistan's president, said that Kurdistan region demonstrated practically it is committed to the Iraqi constitution, and said: "Today, we have demonstrated and answered clearly that we are committed to the Iraqi constitution, and yes, that Iraq's oil and gas, is for all Iraqis and the revenues to all Iraqi people and today we proved that practically and it is a great start to reconstruct the infrastructure of Kurdistan and Iraq.
At the end of the ceremony, both Presidents Jalal Talabani and Massoud Barzani, opened the pipeline to flow oil from the field Khormalh to outside Iraq.
