| SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria S.p.A. (SGI) is Italian leading consultancy specialized in the sectors of water, environment, civil engineering, transportation, landscape management and energy. We provide an integrated service throughout the entire project life cycle, including feasibility studies, economic and financial analysis, environmental impact assessments, preliminary and detailed design, master plans, assistance to procurement and commissioning, works supervision, training and capacity building.
SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria SpA has been working extensively in Iraq since 2003 where it has carried out more than 40 different assignments for the Ministry of Municipalities and Public Works, the Ministry of Water Resources and the Ministry of Environment, the KRG Ministries of Transportation and Communications, and Electricity, for numerous local Authorities (Governorates of Thi Qar, Diyala, Salahaddin, Suleimaniyah, Wassit, Anbar etc) as well as with the main International Organisations operating in the country (World Bank, UNDP, UNOPS, UNESCO, UNICEF, UN-Habitat etc.). The main current projects are the National Master Plan for Water Resources (Ministry Of Water Resources), the Design of the tramway for Suleimania city (Ministry of Transportation, KRG), the Master Plans for Water Supply and Sanitation for the Governorates of Thi Qar and Suleimania (UNDP). |
