Iraqi pipeline has been blew up by militant groups

Pipeline that was carrying Iraq’s oil from the northern oilfield Kirkuk to Turkey’s Mediterranean coast has been blew up by a group of militants on the early half of last Monday.  This has stopped the flow of oil and export activities from the northern part of Iraq. It has to be noted that this is back to back 2nd attack on Iraqi pipelines in this month.
Oil ministry official disclosed that the pipeline has been damaged severely and more than a bomb was used to blow up the pipeline, at the local time of around 1:30.
On May 6th, pipeline, carrying Iraqi crude from Iraq's northern city of Kirkuk to Turkey's port of Ceyhan, was also blown up the militants. However, the pipeline was restored on Sunday.
