Preparations of MoE discussed in energy parliament committee

The electricity minister of Iraq, Abdul Kareem Aftan, will discuss problems facing the work of the Ministry in the oil and energy parliament committee, which was hosted on Sunday.

A statement has been received by the media department parliament, which illustrates, “The meeting, which was chaired by Chairman of the Committee MP Adnan al-Janabi, and in presence of a number of its members, discussed preparations for the Ministry of Electricity for the summer season and the possibility of providing electric power in a better level than last summer.”

The committee has expressed its desire to work with the ministry and to cooperate at the highest level with the ministry for overcoming the obstacles that are harming the overall development of the country. Iraq is struggling for electricity, since the US led invasion in Iraq and some recent measures from ministry is providing enough hope and relief to the countrymen.
