Fourth generating unit of Mussayab Electric Station resumed work in 100 Mega Watt, as announced by the ministry of electricity of Iraq.
Musab al-Mudaris, spokesman from ministry of electricity, stated that it took 45 days for carrying out the maintenance process of the fourth unit. He also disclosed that Mussayab Electric Station is one of the biggest stations in Iraq and has four generating units where each one produces 320 Mega Watt and were performed by the Korean Hyundai Company in 1983.
He also added that the production is anticipated to increase and reach the double value, which is 200 MW in next few days.
