Purchasing ration card items is complicated, says minister of trade

The Minister of Trade, Khairallah Hassan has illustrated the process of purchasing the items of the ration card as "complicated and thorny."

In a statement, ministry has reported that the Minister of Trade chaired the central negotiation session held at the Ministry to purchase (100,000 Tons) of sugar with the attendance of member of the Parliamentary Economic Committee, Ibrahim al-Rikabi.

During the negotiation process, Minister of Trade assured that the purchasing the items of ration card in complicated and thorny due to the instructions related to implementing governmental contracts and the delay in the arrival of the financial allocations for the Ministry on time, as revealed by the statement.

The last resolution of the Council of Minister related to excluding the Ministry of Trade from the governmental contracts conditions in equipping the items of ration card and forming ministerial committee to facilitate the purchasing process from global countries has been appreciated by the minister – statement concluded by revealing this.
