In a press meeting, he said, "The decline in southern and northern Iraq oil exports, last month was not in large quantities, and stop Saudi oil exports as a result of maintenance work in the oil refineries was a temporary, in addition to the fluctuate in exports of Libyan oil, all of which will not be have a significant impact on the production of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries OPEC."
He added, "Southern oil exports dropped in the past month as a result of weather conditions for a limited period, and the north export pipeline faces sabotage, between now and then, and create difficulties in export, but it will not affect Iraqi oil exports, as this pipeline transports small amounts of oil,” and mentioned further, "Libyan oil exports is very few as a result of deteriorating situation and Libyan oil production does not effect on to increase production of OPEC as a result of that."
He stressed that "the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries OPEC can compensate the small quantities and the shortfall in the last month."
