A $200-million integrated medical city has opened in central al-Sulaimaniya, the Construction and Housing Ministry in northern Iraq said Tuesday (April 15th).
The medical city, staffed with more than 1,000 workers, "provides various medical and treatment services using the latest world equipment, and will provide services to all Iraqis at affordable prices", said northern Iraq's Minister of Construction and Housing Kamran Ahmed.
He also added, "Iraqi citizens no longer need to go through the burden of having to travel abroad to seek medical services, as Faruk Medical City can provide that at a level comparable to those provided in Arab and foreign countries."
