On Wednesday, a senior Iranian official said that Iran is fully ready to construct several modern department stores in Iraq.
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Mojtaba Khosrotaj made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Iraqi Trade Minister Mlas Mohammed Abdul Karim.
Khosrotaj also voiced readiness of Iranian tradesmen to present different kinds of high-quality commodities with fair and reasonable prices in those shops. Abdul Karim, for his part, called for further expansion of trade relations with Iran.
The Iraqi minister toured a chain store in Tehran on Tuesday.
