Oil Minister Meets A Japanese Delegation

Oil Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi discussed with a Japanese delegation the common interest between the two countries, especially in trade, economic and energy fields and ways of development them.

A statement by the Ministry of Oil said that Abdul-Mahdi received a Japanese delegation representing the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Economics, headed by Shozo Takada and his accompanying delegation that includes representatives of the / Mitsato, Hitachi, and Mitsaubia / for heavy industries and / Theo / of engineering.

The minister stressed Iraq's desire to strengthen relations with Japan and expanding the volume of cooperation and joint investment, especially in the field of oil and energy.

For his part, Takada reiterated his country's desire and Japanese companies to implement investment projects for the benefit of Iraq in the energy, refineries, petrochemicals, infrastructure areas and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
