Ammar al-Hakim, the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, assured his rejection to dealing with Iraq as constituents.
A statement by the SIIC stated, "While meeting with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to Iraq, Jan Kubis, Hakim discussed the latest updates in Iraq."
The statement also added, "Hakim stated that he is preparing a document that includes all the demands of the political blocs despite their sect to preserve the unity of Iraq."
The statement also added, "He assured his rejection to dealing with Iraq as different constituents rather than a unified country."
