Iraqi MP attributed complained about lack of strategies for protecting local products

Iraqi MP, Mr. Habeeb al-Turfi has attributed the rise of the process of the vegetables to the lack of the strategy of protecting the local products.

Speaking to a local agency, he remarked, "The borders of Iraq are opened to the importation of the agricultural products which resulted in damaging the local agricultural products."

He concluded that due to the variety of imported products price reduction has been resulted. It will provide much needed relieves to the common citizens of Iraq. However, he remarked, “The imported products are limited which resulted in the rise of the process and this is a dangerous issue that needs to have a correct protection to the local products to settle it.”
