In Iraq thousands of schools to be proposed to be rehabilitated

Around 57 billion dinars ($49 million) has been allocated to rehabilitate 18,000 schools across the country, the Iraqi Ministry of Education said Tuesday October 29th.
UNESCO and the Iraqi government are funding the effort as part of a program aimed at rehabilitating Iraq's educational sector, said the ministry's technical deputy, Fawzi Rajab.
He further concluded that Kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and other institutes will undergo repairs, while other infrastructure including clean drinking water systems, a sanitation network, new school playgrounds, teaching aids and devices, and laboratories will be added to these schools.
