Water, health and education projects begun in Diyala province of Iraq

On Tuesday, Iraqi government said that construction work has begun on a variety of service and development projects in the eastern province of Diyala.
The projects, which will cost a total of 20 billion dinars ($17 million), include building sanitation networks and drinking water plants, supplying power to a number of remote villages, building three schools and two health centres, and paving and rehabilitating 24 kilometres of roads, government economic advisor Salam al-Quraishi.
He also stated that local companies are planning for completing these projects by the end of this year.
