Mutual relations have been discussed between Iraqi and Norwegian ministers | ||

According to a ministry statement, "During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations at all levels. The visit comes as an expression of support and solidarity of the Government of Norway for Iraq to counter terrorism and bring security and stability and to support the political transitional process." The statement further reported, "The two ministers discussed international and regional developments, the widening international support for the security and stability of Iraq, and the keenness of the international community on the fight against the terrorist of ISIL." It concluded that they also discussed the Norwegian technical and humanitarian assistances towards Iraq so that the country can curb its present security challenges. | ||
