Compensation of Mid-Euphrates province with 3 petro-dollars demanded

Diwaniya MP Iqbal al-Ghurabi called for compensating the Mid-Euphrates provinces with 3 petro-dollars instead of one.

In a statement by her media office today, she added that the Iraqi ministry of oil rejected extracting oil from these provinces under the pretext that it will be storage for the coming generations.

"These provinces, under such pretext, should be compensated by the three petro-dollars", she confirmed.
