Aqeel al-Khazali appointed as General Inspector of the Interior Ministry in Iraq

MP Hussein al-Maliki of the Iraqi National Alliance assured, "The Council of Ministers issued a decree to appoint the General Inspector of the Interior Ministry, Aqeel al-Khazali, as the Secretary General of the Interior Ministry instead of dismissed SG, Adnan al-Asadi."
He also stated, "The decree included appointing the Director General at the Intelligence Service, Samir Haddad, to replace Khazali in addition to his tasks at the Intelligence Service."
