Vice president of China visits to Iraq

An official visit has been paid to Baghdad by China's Vice President Li Yuanchao. He also met Iraq’s president Fuad Masum.
According an official, Nusayr Ani, Mr. Li will discuss developments regarding the economy, security and trade with Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi and Salim al-Juburi, the parliament speaker.
An official statement released on this regard, which stated that the annual trade between China and Iraq exceeds $24 billion and more than 25 large Chinese companies are operating the in oil, energy and electricity sectors in Iraq.
An estimated 10,000 Chinese workers are working across Iraq, the Chinese embassy in Baghdad said in June 2014.
