Second country program framework for 2018-2023 has been signed by Iraq | ||

A CPF is the frame of reference for the medium-term planning of technical cooperation between a Member State and the IAEA and identifies priority areas where the transfer of nuclear technology and technical cooperation resources will be directed to support national development goals. Since 1959, Iraq is a member of IAEA. For 2018 to 2023 period, eight major priority areas have been identified, and they are: Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste Management, Environment, Nuclear and Radiological Emergency, Strengthening of the Regulatory Infrastructure, Water Resources Management, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, Food and Agriculture and Radiation Technologies industrial application. | ||
