Minister of Planning Ali Yousif Shukri discussed with the Iranian ambassador to Iraq means of developing economic and trade relations.
The discussions tackled forming a joint company to investigate Iraqi and Iranian goods, within the framework of trade exchange.
The minister disclosed that is trying to complete the contracts with foreign companies to check the imported material to ensure their continued flow into the country.
During his meeting with ambassador Hassan Dana'I Fer, both sides reviewed bilateral economic relations during the past years, with expectations for more enhancements in the coming future.
On the other hand, the minister said that Iraq contracted with three international companies to check Iraqi imported commodities, but the contracts are under final auditing by the Cabinet Secretariat General.
