A spokesman on behalf of the parliamentary oil and gas committee has confirmed that since 2003 as much as $27bn is used up on the sector of electricity, Iraq.
According to the statement of Qasim Mohammed a particular report on these completely unwise expenses on the electricity sector has been forwarded to the presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Mohammed has also added that, “after the celebration of Ramadan Eid are over, Hussain Shahristani Deputy Prime Minister for Energy is to be called to the parliament for two different reasons.”
“A committee has been created by the presidency to look into the electricity sector, because despite a lot of money being spent the problems have not been solved yet.”
