In the month of November this year, Kurdistan Region Ministry of Finance and Economy is to send the law draft of the 2013 budget to Council of Ministers.
According to the statement made by their spokesperson Dalir Tariq in a report published by Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on Friday, it is being said that, “the ministry is working hard and preparing the law dart for the general budget 2013 for sending it to the Ministry of Finance.”
He also added that, “special care is being taken of these preparations because of the mention of the reduction of KR from 17% to 13% in the general budget of Iraq.”
Hussein al-Shihristani, the Deputy Premier for Energy Affairs has actually asked the for the reduction of the KR exactly up to 13% in the budget of 2013. This decision is based upon the census of KR and the report prepared by the national census office.
