Sahib al-Daraji the Minister of Construction and Housing in Iraq has said that according to the investment plan of the country for the year 2012, more than 50 projects comprising bridges and roads have been completed.
In a statement, he has said that the important projects including places like Baghdad, Kirkuk, Salaheddine, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Ninawa, Basra, Samawa, Maysan, Karbala, Anbar, Diwaniyyah and Wasit have been excited properly.
The worth of the project is about 95 billion dinars or 82 million dollars and they include building new roads, installing traffic signs, resurfacing the old roads and installing solar powered lights.
According to the statement made by Al-Daraji, all the other projects that are slated for the year 2012 will be finished before the year ends.
