Two airbus passenger planes are being bought by the Trade Bank of Iraq or TBI from Germany. The cost of these two airbus passenger planes is $86 million.
The Bank’s Chairman, Mrs. Hamdiya al-Jaff giving a statement on that topic said that the planes were built in 2009; however they had not been used since they were manufactured. Each of the planes is capable of carrying 200 passengers, she added.
She also said that airlines can avail these planes on lease to enhance the capacity in the seasons of Hajj and other pilgrimages to Mecca.
