Reuters has recently revealed that deputy PM of Iraq Mr Hussain al Shahristani has remarked that Iraq is going to minimize its oil production target between 9 million barrels per day and 9.5 million barrels per day.
Presently, with the help of the foreign firm, Iraq has planned to boost its production capacity to 12 million barrels per day, by the year of 2017. However, Iraqi administrator is seeing this target a bit unrealistic and thus, they want to minimize the oil production target from 12 billion barrels per day to 9 – 9.5 billion barrels per day.
