The reconstruction committee in Missan assigned a project to establish a new major road in the province to a local company at a total cost of around $3 million, Missan’s roads and bridges director said on Tuesday.
“The road links al-Izair district to Qalaat-Salih suburb,” Engineer Mohammed Chasib al-Mousawi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “The road is 25 km long,” he said. “The project will be finalized within 6 months,” he added. Amara, the capital city of Missan province, lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
