PM: The Iraqi investment law needs for amendments to attract foreign investors

A member of Finance Committee in the Parliament, Sami al-Atrushi stressed on the need for amending the Iraqi investment law to encourage the foreign investors to contribute in advancing the investment fact.
Al-Atrushi said that the investment law which was approved by parliament in 2006 does not provide facilities grossly, such as limiting of bureaucratic indications that delay the work of investor in the submission of projects.
Al_Atrushi called the Government to provide protection to the investors by "establishing a sort of protected markets or free zones" to provide security in "dangerous places".
And about what can be provided by the government in promoting investment, al-Atrushi noted that granting preferential oil prices would attract investors.
