Bulgaria is ready to participate in the reconstruction of Iraq

Bulgaria declared its willingness to participate in the implementation of infrastructure projects and reconstruction in the country, while Iraq and Belorussia discussed the ways to strengthen the scientific and cultural cooperation. The charge d'affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Sofia, Fawzi Mohamed al-Abdullah discussed with Radeon Popov, the First Deputy Minister of Bulgarian Foreign Affairs, a number of issues concerning how to improve coordination between the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry and the Iraqi Embassy in Sofia, according to a statement of Foreign Affairs. The statement quoted Popov, declared his country's readiness to make every possible effort to participate in the implementation of infrastructure projects and reconstruction in Iraq, saying that the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry shows great importance to expand and improve the level of coordination with the Iraqi embassy in Sofia. For his part, the Iraqi charge d'affaires expressed Baghdad's gratitude to the Government and people of Bulgaria to the position of solidarity in supporting Iraq since the fall of the former regime. In the meantime, the charge d'affaires of Iraqi Embassy in Minsk, Tariq AL-Adhami reviewed with Sergei Ablamiko the Master of Belarusian University, the ways to strengthen the scientific and cultural cooperation between the two countries. AL-Adhami praised Belorussia University which is counted one of the most important universities in the world that have a reputation in the specialty of law and international relations, expressing the government's gratitude for the good treatment that is shown by Belorussia university towards Iraqi students. For his part, Ablamiko said that the number of Iraqi students at the university is increasing continuously, adding that the Iraqi students are characterized with seriousness and perseverance.
