Japanese company established a big ammonia factory
An official source in the General Southern Fertilizers Company belonging to the Ministry of Industry, confirmed that the ministry contracted with a Japanese company (Mitso) of heavy industries for construction and preparation of ammonia factory.
He added that this factory will be established in the next days, and pointing that the Ministry of Industry allocated 16 million dollars for advancement in the production of chemical fertilizers to meet the need of agricultural uses in Iraq and to export surplus. It is mentioned that the industry of chemical fertilizers in Iraq witnessed an oscillation in production since the beginning of the Iraqi - Iranian war.
