The general director of the company -Salam Jebor Saloom- said that these lines are 187 km long. It is one of the important projects which use a kind of weld iron instead of iron bonds that were used in old railway lines. These new kinds of lines make the movement of the trains streamlined, noiseless, and comfort the citizens. He added that the designed speed for this line is 120km/h; it costs about 10 billion dinars. There is one billion dinars of this cost from Ministry of Planning to achieve many projects to develop transportation by trains.
