The Minister of Environment Dr. Mishckat Mu'min announced that the Ministry is rehabilitating and training staffs for this project and that the Ministry has already carried out with working on this project by allocating money from the Ministry's budget before receiving international donation (16.5 billion Iraqi dinars). The minister also said that the Ministry corresponded with International Bank about financial donation to participate in achieving pollution treatment project in Shat El-Arab.
