The Ministry of Health has allocated ID 67 billions to restore and rehabilitate three hospitals in Baghdad as well as developing family welfare project. The official spokesman of the ministry announced that the ministry has allocated 15 ID billions to rehabilitate the Central Children Hospital in Baghdad whereas the hospital will be developed by adding an infrastructure to it to be a completed and developed hospital. The ministry allocated ID1, 2 billions to rehabilitate al-Karkh General Hospital as well as rehabilitating al-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital, indicating that the ministry is seeking through this step to provide medical services for all citizens especially Baghdad's residents who constitutes half number of Iraq's population. On the other level, Dr. Nema Saeed the Director-General of the General Health and Primary Welfare Department announced that the department has adopted modern and private program on family welfare, representing in establishing 150 typical centers for primary health welfare distributed all over the Iraqi provinces.
