So'ud Abdul Aziz the Director of al-Basra province said that the province is considered like the economic lung of Iraq, pointing out that attributing attention to the city's cleaning is among the province priorities. In an exclusive statement to as-Sabah newspaper, the Municipality Director indicated that the current potentialities are not enough since state's financial allocations are concentrating on the security side. He added that al_Basra potentialities at the center of the city are only 35 machines only to lift garbage at the time the province is in need for 400 cars, referring that al-Basra has been divided to ten sectors, through which, 1500 are working along with 100 trucks.
