Dr. Mehdi al-Hafidh the Minister of Planning and Development Cooperation announced that this decrease has happened due to the reduction in the standard figure for some of the goods which formed 5,6% of the Iraqi family spending, indicating that these goods include cigarettes and drinks, whereas this group of goods have witnessed 25% decreasing, while fuel and lighting inflation rate had been decreased in at rate of 9,22%. Notably this group has witnessed sharp increasing in last Jan. when it reached on 80, 2%.
